  • Participate in a recognized (there is a list of 47) high school sport
  • Record of leadership/community involvement, be a role-model for younger students

  • Part 1 of the application: Due October 2 at noon. This is basic information about your school, academics, community involvement, and athletic activities.
  • A reviewer FROM THE SCHOOL. The reviewer needs to certify Part 1 of your application by October 4 at noon. You want to finish part 1 as soon as possible to give your reviewer TIME. You will need your reviewer’s full name, title, phone number, and email address. Do NOT submit Part 1 on October 2 and expect it to be reviewed on time. COMPLETE EARLY.
  • Part 2 of the application: Due October 23 at noon. This section includes academic awards and athletic awards. There is even space for you to provide URLS to websites where you are featured (if you are!). There are also four short answer questions. They are 1,000 characters each- basically 2 good sized paragraphs. Here are the questions: 1) We know you work incredibly hard, go to great lengths to excel on and off the field- but why? Where does your hunger to succeed come from? 2) What did you do to overcome an academic or athletic challenge and what were the results? 3) Tell us about something you are most proud of, whether it is an achievement or an impact you made for your team, your school, your family, or your community. 4) Tell us about a defining moment in your life that has taught you a life lesson and helped shape who you are by guiding your actions

*I know that the application actually has different deadline times posted. For Conrad students, we are using NOON. We are not playing the time zone game, which can be deadly without full understanding.
